Divetech Offshore Pte Ltd (DTOS) successfully completed an offshore Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) campaign in the Andaman Sea, Myanmar, supporting PTTEP International Limited (PTTEPI).
The project focused on underwater inspection of critical offshore infrastructure, contributing to ongoing asset integrity management.
Scope & Capabilities
As an IMCA-approved diving subcontractor, DTOS delivered:
- Platform-launched air diving services
- Underwater inspection works on critical structures
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using ACFM technology
Operations utilised a surface-supplied air diving spread with a Launch and Recovery System (LARS), enabling safe and controlled diver deployment at depths of 0–30 metres below Mean Sea Level (MSL).
Advanced Inspection Technology
A key element of the campaign was the use of ACFM (Alternating Current Field Measurement) for underwater NDT.
- Enabled accurate detection and sizing of surface-breaking cracks
- Required minimal surface preparation
- Improved efficiency while maintaining high inspection reliability

Execution & Safety
The campaign required precise planning and disciplined execution in a live offshore production environment.
